Our mission is simple: bring clearly sourced fire information and practical preparedness education together in one calm, local place, so households can make good decisions early.

Fire behavior here is shaped by things locals know by name: Santa Ana winds, canyon corridors, hillside brush that cures all summer. A national feed can't serve that context. We focus on Los Angeles County and surrounding communities so every update and every guide is relevant to the people reading it.
